How much will it cost for Eco-Watt to
evaluate our company?
Initially, nothing!
Eco-Watt will come to your facility, free of
charge, and evaluate the opportunity to lower
your energy costs. We place your parameters into
our modeling software to obtain an initial
estimate of potential energy costs savings. This
will give you and us the ability to determine if
an energy cost savings project will meet your
expectations.
Our next step is to
complete a detailed engineering design. There is
a fee for this step; the cost depends on your
facility and the data previously collected
during our free walk-through
How much will a new Eco-Watt energy saving
system cost?
Eco-Watt designs its systems within your
financial and savings constraints. A typical
project will provide a payback in 2 to 3 years,
with ROIs of 33%TO 50%.
What technologies do you use to lower energy
costs?
Eco-Watt uses several types of technologies,
depending on your needs. We work with
established manufacturers and distributors of
technologies that improve electrical
efficiencies for equipment, air-conditioning,
refrigeration and lighting. Once the engineering
and design phase is complete, we will know what
technologies will work best for you.
In what types of industries are these energy
saving products installed?
All types. Large industrial, small
industrial, hotel, automotive, government,
public works, warehouse storage, distribution
and commercial buildings. Electricity behaves
the same regardless of industry. What ’s
important is that we understand your environment
and operating conditions so we can design an
approach that works best for you.
If we have already taken steps such as Power
Factor correction, can we still experience
energy cost savings?
Absolutely. We address your facility ’s power
quality and electrical distribution losses.
Normally, power factor correction is conducted
at your utility meter, which does not improve
your electrical efficiency or deal with power
quality issues. Eco-Watt deals with equipment,
air conditioning, refrigeration, and lighting
losses. We will save you money regardless of
power factor correction at the main electrical
entrance.

What effect do your technologies have on
equipment downtime and operation?
Our technologies are passive, meaning that
they will not harm your existing equipment.
Rather, they enhance the operation, extend the
life and minimize maintenance costs. Our
technologies are installed in parallel so any
outage will not affect your equipment operation.
How does Eco-Watt prove that its systems are

Measurement and verification are an essential
part of the work we perform; our business is
based on saving you money. Eco-Watt establishes
a measurement and verification protocol for your
facility that complies with the International
Performance Measurement and Verification
Protocol (IPMVP).
The IPMVP was established by a network of

(including the U.S. Environmental Protection

purpose of standardizing the methods by which
energy conservation projects are measured and
